Farm Share Food Drive
Farm Share Food Drive – Free Groceries for the Community
Join us for a special day of giving back at our upcoming Farm Share Food Drive, providing free groceries to individuals and families in our community. This drive-thru distribution is designed to make access to fresh food quick, easy, and convenient for everyone.
Taking place on May 29th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (while supplies last) at the Tamarac Sports Complex, this event will operate on a first come, first served basis. We encourage guests to arrive early to ensure availability.
In partnership with community leaders and Farm Share, this initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting families and strengthening our city through service and care.

Breaking Barriers: Women’s Health
Health is one of the most important areas where we can support one another, and Commissioner Patterson is proud to host the next Breaking Barriers event, focused on Women’s Health.
In partnership with the Christine E. Lynn Health & Wellness Institute, this event will bring the Kathryn Krickstein Pressel MammoVan to Tamarac to provide women with life-saving screening services.
The MammoVan will be available on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Tamarac Community Center.
Annual screening mammograms are a covered service for patients ages 40 and older, and results will be available within three business days. No insurance? No problem. No-cost mammograms are available.
Appointments are required, and space is limited, so please plan to register early.
