Krystal Patterson, MPA, FRA-RA, is a dedicated public servant, entrepreneur, and accomplished leader in public-sector management, community engagement, and organizational leadership. She proudly serves as the Commissioner for Tamarac’s District 3, where she works each day to ensure that residents feel heard, supported, and represented.

With more than 15 years of experience, Krystal has built a career focused on revitalizing communities, streamlining government operations, and strengthening partnerships between residents, businesses, and city leadership. Her commitment to responsive, transparent service has earned her a reputation as a bold and thoughtful voice for progress in Tamarac.

As Founder and President of H.E.R.S. Consulting (Helping Executives Reach Solutions), Krystal expands her impact beyond City Hall. Through H.E.R.S., she provides executive coaching, leadership training, customer service workshops, and organizational consulting to public-sector teams nationwide. Her approach equips leaders and organizations with the tools to improve performance, elevate service delivery, and achieve measurable results.

Krystal holds an Executive Master’s in Public Administration from Florida International University, graduating with honors, and is a Certified Florida Redevelopment Administrator. She currently serves on the Broward Solid Waste Authority Executive Committee, the Broward County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, and the Broward League of Cities.

Her leadership and expertise have been recognized widely, including her selection as one of Legacy Miami Magazine’s Most Powerful and Influential Leaders in 2023. She is also a sought-after speaker at national conferences—most recently addressing the 2024 American Association of Code Enforcement—and serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Florida Atlantic University’s Institute of Government, shaping the next generation of public leaders.
